OF PORT CITY CHURCH
At Port City Church, we believe church should be the best hour of your child’s week. PC Kids is a safe, joy-filled space where your kids can grow in faith, make friends, and have so much fun doing it. No matter which campus you are attending, your child will be greeted by loving leaders who are passionate about making every kid feel seen, safe, and spiritually nurtured.

Birth – 24 Months
Our nursery is filled with caring, background-checked volunteers dedicated to providing a safe and loving environment for your littlest ones.
2 - 3 Year Olds
At this age, everything is new and so is Jesus’ love! Our amazing leaders meet toddlers right where they are with simple, joyful rhythms of songs, play, and stories that help their little hearts begin to grasp just how loved they are.
4's - Kindergarten
Big imaginations meet even bigger truths here. With room to play, wonder, and create, your child will explore the Bible through real stories and activities that bring faith to life in fun, age-appropriate ways.
1st - 3rd Grade
This is where foundations form and fun leads the way! Kids dive into interactive games, meaningful discussions, and engaging videos that help them understand who God is while making new friends and great memories along the way.
4th - 5th Grade
This is the sweet spot where fun and faith collide. Kids enjoy high-energy games, real conversations, and leaders who get what it’s like to be their age. It’s a space where they can ask questions, build friendships, and begin owning their faith in a way that still feels like play, but leaves a lasting impact.

Show Up, Hang Out, Connect.
Every Sunday morning in July, kids ages 4–5th grade are invited into something special. Uproar is a high-energy, faith-filled experience designed just for them—packed with worship, large group teaching, and hands-on stations like games, crafts, and themed activities.
This year’s theme is 'Live It Out' helping kids connect what they believe to how they live. Think camp vibes all month long… but with air conditioning, familiar faces, and leaders who already know their name. It’s fun with a purpose and the kind of Sunday they’ll be excited to wake up for.

the team.
PC Kids is powered by a whole crew of incredible volunteers—but it’s guided week-to-week by two amazing leaders who help create the structure, vision, and heart behind what we do. Danielle (at Cloverville) and Laura (at McGraft) are passionate about creating spaces where kids feel safe, have fun, and grow in their faith. Alongside a team of background-checked, joy-filled volunteers, they help make every Sunday feel like the best part of your child’s week.

FAQ'S
When does PC Kids happen?
Every Sunday, during regular service times. Just check in when you arrive—we’ll walk you through it!
Is this more than Childcare?
Yes, and intentionally so. We believe kids are capable of real faith, real friendships, and real joy. They’ll be engaged, encouraged, and excited to come back—because what they experience matters.
Are all volunteers background-checked?
Yes. Every PC Kids volunteer is background-checked and trained—no exceptions. We take your child’s safety seriously, and that starts with who’s in the room with them.
What if my child doesn’t know anyone?
PC Kids isn’t just a place to learn, it’s a place to belong. They won’t feel like the new kid for long. Our leaders are intentional about helping kids feel seen, included, and connected right from the start. Most kids leave with new friends by the end of their first visit.
Will my child understand what’s being taught?
Absolutely. We break big truths into kid-sized pieces using age-appropriate language, stories, and hands-on activities. Our goal is to make faith stick—and to keep it fun while we’re at it.
